IYA2009 international

The Swiss IYA2009 program is coordinated with the international events. Information on international projects and activities are available on the international IYA2009 site .

Switzerland is involved in several of the 11 «Cornerstone Projects». For example, a series of events will take place under the title «100 Hours of Astronomy» between 2 and 5 april 2009. We also contribute to other projects, coordinate and distribute material and resources. Movies, exhibition material, brochures and other material have been translated to the main national languages for use in numerous Swiss events.
