Exhibition "From Earth to the Universe"
The complete material of the exhibition "From Earth to the Universe" consists of 50 poster (see photo gallery) with titles and captions in 3 languages (german, french, italian). The following topics are illustrated:
- Moon and the Sun: eclipses, full moon, solar chromosphere, solar corona
- Solar system: Venus transit, Jupiter and its red spot, Saturn and comets
- Birth of stars: several young nebulae
- Stars: several constellations and globular clusters
- Death of stars: planetary nebulae and supernovae remnants
- Galaxies: the Milky Way, Magellanic Clouds, Andromeda galaxy, Various galaxies
- The deep Universe: Interacting galaxies, groups of galaxies, Hubble Ultra Deep Field, diffuse cosmological background radiation
Posters are available in the format 70x100cm, printed on plastic (640 g/m2), in 3 series:
Two forms of distribution are offered:- to let: You wish to borrow the material for some time and return it after your event? Just indicating which series you like (A, B, C, or C paper - see below), the dates, and mailing address. The material will be sent to you in due time per post mail; you return it via post after your event. Borrowing the material is free, post fees are at your expense.
- independent printing: You wish to print the posters yourself or use another means of presentation? we will provide you with access to the high definition posters in electronic format.
